The Birchwood Automotive Group is proud to announce that all our dealerships are now MTS Wi-Fi Hotspots. The next time your bring in your vehicle for servicing, simply ask a receptionist for a MTS Wi-Fi keycode to access the internet from our stores!
 

What is MTS Wi-Fi?

Wi-Fi enables you to access the Internet through wireless technology. MTS is taking your Internet access outside of your office and into public locations and businesses around Manitoba. All you need is a Wi-Fi enabled device, such as a laptop or PDA and an MTS High Speed Internet or MTS Mobility account, or a valid credit card to access your email and browse the Internet on the go.
MTS already has Wi-Fi locations in Winnipeg, Brandon, Virden and Headingley, and the list of locations continues to grow. As an MTS Business High Speed Internet customer, you automatically receive 40 free Wi-Fi hours at any MTS Wi-Fi Hotspot as well as access to any FatPort® Wi-Fi location within Canada.

 

How do I log into a MTS Wi-Fi Hotspot?

Logging in is easy! If you are an MTS Business High Speed Internet or MTS Mobility customer simply enter your Login ID and password.
MTS Business High Speed Internet customer - userid@buslv1.mts.net
MTS Mobility customer - 10digitmin@wifi.mts.net

1. Turn on your wireless-enabled device and open your Internet browser (for example, Internet Explorer). The MTS Wi-Fi Hotspot login page will appear.

2. If you are already a MTS Business Internet customer, simply login with your current log in ID (e.g. userid@buslv1@mts.net) and password. If you are not an MTS Internet customer, click Purchase Time and follow the instructions on your screen.

3. Once you have successfully logged in you will be prompted with the following message: "Congratulations! You are Connected!"

4. Your session will automatically disconnect after 15 minutes of inactivity. Alternately you can turn off the Wi-Fi radio or power off your device.

If you are not an MTS High Speed Internet or MTS Mobility customer you will be provided with payment and log-in options.

If you have forgotten your MTS login ID and password please call 225-4BIZ or Dial 611 (*611) from your MTS Mobility cell phone.

1. Select "FatPort" as your Wi-Fi Connection

2. Open your Internet Browser - you will be re-directed to the FatPort login page.

3. Select the Roaming Login tab, and then select MTS from the list of roaming partners. In the Login ID/Email Address field, type your full MTS login ID (e.g. user@buslv1@mts.net or 0digitmin@wifi.mts.net) and your type your password in the Password field.

4. Click on the Login button and start surfing the web.
